View model activity

The Model Activity page shows a record of all activities, including actions performed by users in your organization and updates generated via the library such as:

  • Inventory fields updated on the model
  • Model stage transitions
  • Updates to model documentation, validation reports, or ongoing monitoring plans
  • Test results added to your model
  • Findings added, updated, or removed
  • Comment creation and replies

To view model activity:

  1. In the left sidebar, click Inventory.

  2. Select a model or find your model by applying a filter or searching for it.

  3. In the expanded sidebar that appears for your model, click Model Activity.

Review model activity

  1. Select the name of your model you registered for this course to open up the model details page.
  2. In the left sidebar that appears for your model, click Model Activity.
  3. Filter the following activity:
    Comments | Status Updates | Model Updates | Test Results

Review workflows associated with your models:

To review the details for workflows currently active on a specific model:

  1. In the left sidebar, click Inventory.

  2. Select a model or find your model by applying a filter or searching for it.

  3. On the landing page of your model, locate the active workflows section.

  4. Click on the name of any active workflow to review that specific workflow’s details.

  5. Click on the tab you would like to review:

    • Details — Name and description (if present) of the workflow, the workflow’s status and progress (if applicable), when it was created, and when it was started.
    • Activity — History of updates to the workflow on that model.
    • Findings — Findings for that model created within the duration of that workflow’s runtime.
    • Workflow — Overview of the entire workflow. The current workflow step is highlighted on this view.

Review a timeline of workflows running or previously run on a model:

  1. In the left sidebar, click Inventory.

  2. Select a model or find your model by applying a filter or searching for it.

  3. On the landing page of your model, locate the Workflows section. If workflows are running or have previously run on your model, you can:

    • Filter the view using the show drop-down menu to display only runs from specific workflows.

    • Click See All Workflows to see records of workflows by status:

      • Active — Workflows currently running.
      • Scheduled — Workflows slated to run in the future.
      • Waiting — Workflows in a Wait state.
      • Finished — Workflows that have reached an End state.
      • AbortedCancelled workflows.
      • Available — Workflows available to be run manually.

View model workflows

  1. Select the name of your model you registered for this course to open up the model details page.
  2. On the landing page of your model, locate the active workflows section.
  3. Click on the name of any active workflow to review that specific workflow’s details.
  4. Close the detail view for your workflow.
  5. Click See All Workflows to see records of workflows by status.

When you’re done, click to continue.

Work with analytics

Welcome to Analytics

Here, you can find executive summaries, track information on models, findings, and more.

Default report widgets are provided in the Models and Findings dashboards.

You can supplement these with your own custom reports in additional dashboards to suit your organizational needs.

View report data

Reports will not include data or findings from archived models.

  1. In the left sidebar, click Analytics.

  2. Click on the tab for the type of reports you want to review.

  3. For each of the bar or pie charts, hover for numerical breakdowns or click on individual sections to get a more detailed view.

    For example, to see all findings related to specific risk area:

    1. Click on the Findings tab.
    2. Under Findings by Risk Area, click on the risk area you want more details for.
    3. On the page that opens, the applicable findings are listed:
    4. To get more details on the finding itself, click on the title of the finding to take you to the Model Findings section for the specific model the finding applies to.

View detailed analytics

  1. Click on the tab for the type of reports you want to review.
  2. For each of the bar or pie charts, hover for numerical breakdowns or click on individual sections to get a more detailed view.

Manage custom reports

To supplement the default reports with your own custom reports, first create a custom analytics page, then add your custom visualizations:

  1. In the left sidebar, click Analytics.

  2. Click Add Page.

  3. On the Add New Page module, enter in the:

    • page name
    • description
  4. Click Add New Page to create your custom analytics page.

  1. On Analytics, click on the tab for your custom page you’d like to add a visualization to.

  2. Click Edit Dashboard.

  3. Select Add Widget then Add Visualization.

  4. On the Add Visualization panel, enter in your title.

  5. Select a visualization type:

    • Bar Chart
    • Pie Chart
    • Counter
  6. Select a dataset:

  7. Select the visualization configuration options to apply to the dataset.

  8. When you are done configuring your dataset, click Add Visualization to insert your custom widget onto the analytics page.

Create an analytics page

  1. Click Add Page.
  2. On the Add New Page module, enter in the page name and the description.
  3. Click Add New Page to create your custom analytics page.

When you’re done, click to continue.

Create a custom visualization

  1. Click on the tab for the custom page you added previously.
  2. Click Edit Dashboard and select Add Widget then Add Visualization.
  3. On the Add Visualization panel, enter in your title.
  4. Select a visualization type.
  5. Select a dataset.
  6. Select the visualization configuration options to apply to the dataset.
  7. Click Add Visualization to insert your custom widget onto the analytics page.

When you’re done, click to continue.
